The High Holy Days begin not with Rosh Hashana, but with Selichot—our first step on the journey of reflection, forgiveness, and spiritual renewal.

Kever Avot – Friday, September 18th, 10:00 a.m. at Home of Peace
Kever Avot is the custom of visiting the graveside of parents or close relatives and taking part in a prayer service at the cemetery.
Shabbat Shuva – Saturday, September 19th9:30 a.m. Shabbat Service & Shabbat Hot Lunch
Shabbat Shuvah (Hebrew for "Sabbath of Return") is the Shabbat that falls between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.The name comes from the opening word of that week's Haftarah, which begins with "Shuvah Yisrael" ("Return, O Israel"). It is also associated with the Hebrew word teshuvah (repentance or returning to one's moral path).

7:00 p.m. – Dancing, celebrating, music, and more! Apples and chocolate bars for all!
