T’rumah: Our Membership Commitment Model
Membership at TIS is based on t’rumah, a voluntary giving model inspired by the Torah’s teaching that contributions are a matter of the heart, not obligation.
Each year, we share our operating costs to help guide members in determining their contribution. While we suggest a sustaining amount to cover per-adult member costs, the actual amount you contribute is up to you and based on your household’s financial capacity. An annual security fee applies to each household.
This flexible model removes barriers to membership, strengthens our community partnerships, and allows us to welcome everyone who wants to belong.
