Welcome to The Miller Introduction to Judaism

ALL are welcome to join this exciting 18-week course; Reform Conservative, Orthodox, unaffiliated, Jew-curious, and everyone in between. Inspire new traditions. Discover your community.

For more than 30 years, Miller Introduction to Judaism of the American Jewish University has been the nation’s leading center for welcoming those seeking to convert to Judaism, interfaith couples, and anyone wanting to learn more and find a home in the Jewish community. Click here to learn more about the program.

Together we will explore such topics as basic Jewish literacy, history, tradition, denominational Judaism, the modern State of Israel, Jewish mysticism (Kabala), customs, ethics, culture, and wisdom in a setting where questions are more important than answers. Classes are interactive, relaxed, engaging and fun.

Wherever you come from. Wherever you are going.
Your Jewish journey begins or renews here.

Judaism is about community, so we will be holding these classes in-person*** beginning in early November. Email Beth or call 619 697-6001, ext. 108 with your interest. A poll will be shared with those who are interested to help determine the day/timing of classes.

If you have any questions please email Rabbi Marko at or call 619 697-6001, ext. 105.
